Princess Flip Flops

I'm so excited about these!

I know spring is a few months away but in Southern Louisiana, they never go out of style! I've added a sweet bow and ribbon around the soles. Who could have thought they could have gotten any cuter than before? But they just did! :)

Can't wait for summer? Email me to get started on your princess flops today :) info@poshbabycouture.com

Exposure

Posh has been expanding into new territory! I feel extremely blessed, to be given so many opportunities to expose Posh. My sweet as pie Father-inlaw invited me to his church's vendor marketplace. I had a great time, Posh was a hit! I got sooooo many compliments, and a few custom orders :)

Here are a few pics from this weekend.

My Posh Girls are growing up to fast!

Ok I know in the big wide world of fashion models come and they go! Let's just pray that mine don't grow too fast! I forget that they are kids and a year is like forever in their worlds! They change and grow sooooo much! For those that may not know Posh is represented by my three nieces. I just updated the home page photo and they've changed sooo much from last year's picture. Wow! What in the world am I gonna do when they grow out of Posh? Guess I may just have to start popping some kiddies out so I can keep a rotation of Posh Models! Lol

It's Been a GOOD Morning Indeed!

This AM I received a text from my neighbor. Any tutu's for a 2yr old? I thought to myself about what I had in stock. Nothing.. I just sent everything to My Favorite Things for theIR Grand Opening...(More about that EXCITMENT later!)

Anywho.... I went to the rack and I have 3 tutu's, one unfinished from this summer. My attempt at pixi tutu's... I don't really like em.. so they've just been sitting there. I emailed a pic... and it was decent enough to make the cut. In the back of my mind I was not really wanting to put this tutu out because its just not... em... POSH enough.

Next text from my neighbor... "Will it fit a 2yr old?"... My response was yup.. all i have 2 do is adjust the waist.. it'll just be a little long... So she asked if i had anything smaller. NOPE... Nothing, this was the best of what I had vs making one, which i was starting to think about doing...lol

Sorry girlie.. this is the best I've got :( was my response...

O wait.. I can trim it down... make it shorter!

Omy Omy.... Jesus was smiling on me again.. cut down and added a sweet little bow!

VOILA! POSH IN MINUTES!

OOOOOOOOO OOOOOO OOOOOOO HOW I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! WHAT I DO!

WOKE UP AGAIN THIS MORINING DOING WHAT I LOVE!

THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR FAVOR AND GRACE!

THANKS MICHELLE FOR TXTING ME.. U DON'T REALIZE IT, BUT URE HELPING ME GROW!

LOVE YA LOTS!

POSH!

Tutu off the rack....

The Meagan

My sister just sent me this pic a few minutes ago. Meagan is wearing the John-John romper that I made for her a few months back (we live in the south.. it's still hott in Houston, lol). I called it the Meagan, because its the perfect combo of functional cuteness. The design is for a boys jumper, but I made it in pretty pink and green with streaming bows. Of course it's reversible. Can't you see that Meagan likes to play, which means getting dirty. No problem, auntie Chandra was one step ahead, we can just flip it to the other side, and perfecto!

I've said it 100times, that my nieces have served as muses and inspiration for many Posh designs. My sister has been a Posh fan before I had enough guts to even step out and make it happen :) She's always believed in me and would encourage me when I didn't think I had what it takes, was my first customer, and will let me put anything on her kids! She trust me that much...lol.....

I couldn't stop looking at this picture of my sweet little niece. It captures the essence of Posh Baby. She was just a little somebody when I started making Posh Couture dresses, burps, bibs, wipes cases... for her. She owned the first pair of Posh Noir Jolie Sparkle converse... A Posh favorite! She'll be two years old next month... boy how time flys. I ordered some things for her and her sisters and will be introducing new posh designs hopefully before the month is out!

I love, love, love my nieces. I don't get to see em often, but have poster sized pictures of them in my workspace as a constant reminder of why I do what I do, and how I got started.

I'll never forget those days in my tiny Houston condo, when their little eyes would light up as they paraded through Posh Land (my closet), trying on the tutus, and sparkle shoes! ... asking what's this auntie Chandra? Is this for me? I love your store auntie Chandra... OK, I'm getting emotional.... They were always just as excited as I was especially Lauren often sitting in my lap as I learned to sew pillowcase dresses for her. I'd let her touch the buttons, and the "rhime-stones. She loves BLING! That was only a year ago.

Boy how time flys.....

Posh :)
